Frequently Asked Questions
Is Nurture Nook right for me?
Nurture Nook is the right place for you if you want a space that is going to offer comfort, calm, and reprieve from the stress and chaos that can happen in everyday life. You want a therapist who is going to make you feel heard and validated, while also gently guiding you to make changes that will benefit you and your loved ones around you. If you’re coming with a willingness to be vulnerable, open, and curious, we are here to guide and support you to feel your emotions, learn ways to regulate your nervous system, and feel more at ease and grounded in your experiences.
Hours and Location
We are available to see clients Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. We reserve limited evening and weekend slots when appropriate. Nurture Nook Counseling offers virtual sessions to all residents of Colorado, as well as in-person and outdoor sessions in Boulder, CO.
Cancellation Policy
We ask for 24-hours notice to cancel or reschedule your session. The first late cancellation or no show will result in a charge of $75, half of the self-pay rate. Any subsequent late cancellations or no shows will result in a charge of $150, the full self-pay rate. If we are able to reschedule you at another time during the same calendar week, we will waive the late-cancellation fee. If we do not have the availability or you are unable to reschedule in the same calendar week, you will be charged the respective late-cancellation fee. Late-cancellation and no-show fees are not covered by insurance. We are willing to make exceptions to this policy for anything that can reasonably be considered an emergency.
Good Faith Estimate
The No Surprises Act requires healthcare professionals, including therapists, to provide good-faith estimates of medical items or services for uninsured (or self-paying) individuals. This is in an effort to help you better understand what you can expect to pay for services. You can ask your healthcare provider for a good-faith estimate before you schedule a service. For questions or more information about your right to a good-faith estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
